The brief

In the UAE the purchase decision is speed. A customer who wants a specific regional edition tonight will buy from whoever can say a time and mean it. The second constraint is cultural rather than technical: a large share of buyers will not complete a web checkout but will happily finish the same order in WhatsApp.

What we built

The delivery promise is stated as a rule, not a slogan — one hour across Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah, twelve hours maximum to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — and it is carried on the product page, where the decision is made, rather than only in the footer.

WhatsApp is a checkout, not a support link

The WhatsApp route is built to complete an order end to end: the customer messages, the team confirms stock and total, and a payment link comes back in the thread. It runs parallel to the cart rather than as a fallback after one fails, because it is a first choice for a real share of the customer base — and it is backed by cash on delivery, card and bank transfer so the payment method is never the thing that stops the order.

Browsing by edition

Buyers shop by regional edition — Swiss, Japanese, Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Italian, Indonesian — so that is the top-level taxonomy, with the ILUMA i device range as its own branch. Category landing pages and the blog carry the search demand for each edition name. The 18+ adults-only notice runs throughout.

Where it landed

Two complete order paths, an explicit delivery promise on the page where it matters, and a catalogue organised the way the customer already thinks about the product.
